I wonder where i can find HBO's Brazilian variant, as i'm from Brazil. Btw, Cable networks only became to surge starting in 1991 with channels like "Telecine" (which if it came out 2 years earlier, it would be here with the others, but alas. Btw, that's Rede Globo's own "Showtime" or "HBO", one of their first alongside 4 others in their Globosat service, and it's still strong to this day after getting divided into multiple channels specifically focused on genres or eras)

TVN Chile during those dark times: terrible newscasts, yet terrific artists, even in the branding department. They were one of the few owners of a Scanimate machine in Latin America, and they knew every trick it could make. And of course that ribbon logo is made with it
